According to the Daily Mail, the robbers threatened him with a crowbar but did not cause him any physical harm.
The jewelry stolen included four ruby and diamond suites: one consisting of 338 stones – 320 brilliant-cut diamonds and 18 rubies – set in 18 karat white gold; a second 179-stone ruby and diamond suite; a third jewelry suite of 46 diamonds and rubies; and a fourth suite of 31 brilliant-cut diamonds and four cabochon rubies.
