A Royal Canadian Mounted Police Gang Task Force seized C$250,000 in luxury jewelry, cash, and weapons when executing search warrants against a Canadian gangster last week, news outlets report.
The suspect is reportedly a member of the Game Tight Soldiers and has connections to the Renegades, a group affiliated with the Hell's Angels.
Most of the jewelry appeared to be custom-made, and included gold chains, silver and diamond rings, diamond-encrusted watches, and a gold skull-shaped medallion the size of a person's palm set with diamonds.
Cpl. Craig Douglass said "this isn't stuff that you're going to find in a jewelry store" and described it as "very attention-getting, for sure."
In addition to the gold and diamond jewelry – which an appraiser said had a value of C$200,000 – the RCMP found C$40,000 in cash, three handguns, a machine gun, and a stash of cocaine.
