BaselWorld is one of the leading events on Europe's watch and jewelry exposition calendar, and over 1,800 representatives of jewelry, watch, gemstone, pearl and diamond companies are showing at this year's event, which is expected to draw some 100,000 members of the luxury watch and diamond industries.
Organizers of BaselWorld are seeking to expand the media presence of the exhibition through social media. MCH Swiss Exhibition said that the event's Facebook and Twitter profiles would be updated with progress notes and news.
