The CISA has elected its new council during its fourth general assembly. Zhu Jimin, board chairman of Shougang, will succeed Deng Qilin as the new president of the country’s steel body whose members, numbering 232 in total, cover all the major steelmakers at home. The vice president of CISA, Zhang Changfu, will work as secretary-general; and Wang Xiaoqi will take the seat of vice president.
