Japan's industrial output grows 2.4 pct in Jan.

Japan's industrial production in January climbed 2.4 percent from the previous month, marking the third straight month of increase, the government data showed Monday.
The seasonally adjusted figure was slightly worse than an average market forecast of a 3.8 percent rise.
The index of output at factories and mines reached 97.1 against the baseline of 100 for 2005, the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry said in a report.
