De Beers' Diamond Trading Company (DTC) has announced the date of a webinar to provide support to diamond companies considering registering to become a Sightholder for the next Supplier of Choice contract period.

The DTC will hold two webinars on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 09.00 GMT and 16.00 GMT.

The sessions are open to all interested parties from the diamond industry and can be attended online via www.newsightholdercontract.com. Those wishing to attend will need to register from March 1 at the site before joining the webinar on March 8.

Both webinars will include a video from the DTC and its partner DTCs, together with a live Q&A session with DTC CEO Varda Shine; Mahiar Borhanjoo, Executive Director of Sales & Sightholder Services and Howard Davies, Head of the Commercial Department. During the video and Q&A session, attendees will be able to post their questions online.

The webinar video and frequently asked questions (FAQs) will be available at www.newsightholdercontract.com from March 8 to the closing of submissions on July 7, 2011.
