Growing global copper consumption and strong fundamentals are expected to support prices in 2011, an executive of Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco) said Tuesday.

Aluminum prices would rise on strong demand and the turmoil in the Middle East, said Liu Xiangming, vice president and executive director of Chinalco.
