German textile machinery in India will become the second largest importing countries

German textile machinery industry is expected in the short term, India will become a German textile machinery imports after China’s second largest country.
At present, India is Germany’s fourth-largest textile machinery importer, the first half of 2005, imports amounted to 108 million euros (583 million rupees).
United States and Turkey imports were 1.73 billion U.S. dollars (796 million rupees) and 1.70 billion euros.
German textile machinery in China is still the largest importer, imports amounted to 3.61 billion euros.
“German machinery exports to India grew 30% in 2004, to 1.4 billion euros, up 84% this year again, the German Textile Machinery Association is expected in the long run, India will import the machine to reach 2 billion euros, or more than this figure.”
German textile machinery exports to China is slowing. German Association said exports to the Chinese market is declining, although in a period of time, the rate of decline is limited. The first half of this year, the German textile machinery exports of 1.755 billion euros, China imported 361 million euros, reduced by 30%, imports of spinning machinery to reduce the 45% year on year.
At the same time, spinning machinery import growth this year, India 3.67%, to 5,200 million euros, textile finishing machinery imports grew 38% to 900 million euros.
Five years ago, members of the Association of Chinese machines imported from Germany to reach 5 billion euros, in part because Chinese imports to reduce demand for the machine saturation and the import of Chinese textile export quotas by the impact of uncertainty.
