China's primary aluminum output to rise 24% in 2011

China, the largest aluminum producer in the world, may see its output of primary aluminum jump 24% year on year to 20 million metric tons this year, said Hu Changping, a senior official from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.The figure is higher than forecast of 19 million metric tons by Aluminum Corp of China Ltd.
