The San Francisco Giants, who clinched the 2010 World Series title for the first time since relocating to California from New York, had to wait until this year's baseball season opened before being presented with their rings.
Each World Series ring – designed by venerable diamond jeweler Tiffany & Co – features 77 tiny polished diamonds set in the shape of the Giants' logo set in white gold.
The face of the diamond ring also features the year 2010 and a picture of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, while the opposite site depicts a World Series trophy and the player's name.
During spring training, Giants manager Brian Bochy pranked his players, showing them an inexpensive ring from the Dominican Summer league and telling them it was a model of their World Series rings.
