The CISA estimated China’s crude steel output in the first ten days of April would stand at 19.79 million tons, 16.53 million tons of which may come from its 76 member producers, up 2.4 percent from the previous ten days. Domestic steel output continued to grow rapidly. Inventories, though falling slightly in recent days, were still high. Oversupply is forecast to be continued for a while. Seasonal demand may serve the goal of driving the prices higher in the future.
