Diamond Dealers Club, TransGuardian Close Shipping and Insurance Deal

The Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York has concluded an agreement with the TransGuardian high-security shipping and logistics company that will let DDC members being able to ship packages of diamonds and jewelry at preferred rates using what has been called a Concierge Shipping Service.
Under the terms of the agreement, TransGuardian will:
• Organize a credit risk insurance policy for transactions managed through the DDC's Bonded Trading System.
• Set up a package drop off and receiving kiosk near the entrance to the DDC trading floor on the 10th floor of 580 Fifth Ave.
• Provide a means of managing return shipments from web traders to the DDC, as well as return shipments between web traders and the Gemological Institute of America and other gem labs.
• Assist the DDC in setting up a Patriot Act Compliance Secure
Trading Zone. All transactions within the system will be checked against worldwide governmental anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism check lists.
In addition, TransGuardian says the DDC Concierge Shipping Service will provide savings of an average of 30% or more on insured freight rates worldwide.
