The KAMIEN-STONE 2011 Stone Industry Fair will be held from November, 9-12 in Poznan. It is the biggest fair in Central and Eastern Europe that is the gateway to the market in the region, which is thriving as evidenced by the previous editions of the fair.
A team composed of experts in the organisation of fairs from Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie and Geoservice-Christi will create the Kamień-Stone fair for the third time. Their previous cooperation resulted in the establishment of a globally recognised brand associated with development and new possibilities. Kamien-Stone, as the biggest and the most prestigious fair for the stone industry in Central and Eastern Europe, enjoys increasing interest in Europe and in the world.
A glance at Kamien-Stone 2010 fair
The last year’s edition proved that European and worldwide representatives of the stone industry noticed the considerable potential of Central and Eastern Europe. The fair was attended by strong representations of the global leaders in the stone industry from: Italy, Spain, China or Germany. Foreign companies from 19 countries around the world represented 60% of all exhibitors.
Foreign guests also attended the fairs as visitors. They represented 10% out of 7.5 thousand people who visited the Kamien-Stone 2010 fair.
Looking forward
For some time now, the fair has been an extremely important platform of company external communication. In the case of the stone industry, where huge machines and heavy stones are exhibited, the fair has a particular promotional dimension as it enables a large number of people to have a close look at the products and services offered. No other marketing tool offers such an advantage.
By mid-April, over 90 exhibitors have declared their participation in the Kamien-Stone 2011 fair. It is a dozen or so percent more than at the same time a year ago. The November Kamien-Stone fair will be located again in the complex of three pavilions: 5, 6 and 6A. Last year’s exhibitors stressed very good conditions for exhibition and a wide range of technical possibilities offered by the facilities.
Stone show
Pavilions 5 and 6A will be the centres of events to be held during the fair-exhibitions, special zones, lectures and presentations. A large number of attractions is a conscious strategy adopted by the organisers.
An intensive promotional campaign will be aimed at attracting three groups of visitors to the fair: stoneworkers, architects and individual clients. “We are preparing interesting and interactive events for all of these groups”, says Jerzy Kaczmarek, Director of KamieÅ„-Stone 2011. The idea lying behind the organisation of the fair is not only business-we also want to show architects and the wide public the advantages of stone and the huge potential for its use in construction, design, interiors or gardens.
