Tennis star Maria Sharapova will add a touch of glamour to this year's Grand Slam events by sporting various styles of diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co.

For the French Open, which begins today at the Roland Garros stadium in Paris and runs through June 5, Sharapova has selected platinum drop earrings set with rose-cut diamonds. The player extolled the jewels, saying that the earrings were so light that they were perfect to wear on the course.

The Russian player is aiming to secure her first Grand Slam title of the year in Paris. Sharapova will be wearing other Tiffany diamond earring models at this year's Australian Open, Wimbledon, and US Open tennis tournaments.
