Mechanical Industry Corporation rises its profit to 59 mln TL

Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation of Turkey (MKEK) tripled its profit to 59.3 million Turkish lira (TL) in 2010.
Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation of Turkey (MKEK) tripled its profit to 59.3 million Turkish lira (TL) in 2010. (One U.S. dollar is equal to 1.58 TL)
According to the data in a report by MKEK, the corporation which sells weapons and ammunition to several countries such as Britain, Greece, Israel and the United States rose its net sales to 650.5 million TL in 2010. The figure was 570.5 million TL in 2009.
There has been also a remarkable increase in orders received by Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation in Turkey as well. Total orders amounted to 246.9 million TL in 2010.
