Indonesia's state-owned enterprises are united to establish the Investment Communication Forum to raise fund of 260 trillion rupiah (about 30.6 billion U.S. dollars), the country's largest online news provider detik.com quoted a minister as saying on Friday.
Minister for State-Owned Enterprises Mustafa Abubakar said that the forum will be inaugurated on June 14 with state labor insurance company PT Jamsostek as the initiator.
Members of the forum are companies with adequate liquidity and are ready to invest. The forum would be the link of supply and demand sides.
"On June 14, we will make the forum as an institution," said Abubakar.
The forum will be joined by state securities, insurance and banking companies. It will look for sectors that need funding, especially in infrastructure, airports and ports construction.
Abubakar also said that there will be appraisal teams to evaluate projects before disbursement of funds.
