The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has launched its second diamond certifying facility in the Indian state of Gujarat, a state-of-the art facility located at CG Road in Ahmedabad.



The Ahmedabad facility will also provide diamond certifying services for Saurastra.



On the occasion of the launch, Tehmasp Printer, the managing director of IGI India said, "We believe Ahmedabad is emerging as one of the key diamond markets. IGI has enjoyed tremendous success with the launch of a diamond certifying laboratory in Surat last year. IGI mobile labs will be made available to our clients across Gujarat for certifying their jewelry."
