Diamonds from Panna to Be Auctioned Starting July 25

A small parcel of 110 diamonds with a combined weight of 99.72 carats recovered from India's Panna mines is scheduled to go on auction starting July 25, the Business Standard reports.
The sale will be handled through the Panna Collector at the Diamond Office.
Stones available for purchase include gem-quality diamonds of 1.54; 1.68; 1.69; 2.04; and 4.26 carats each, as well as a selection of off-color diamonds and industrial diamonds.
Auction policy stipulates that bidders will have to deposit Rs 5,000 cash to be eligible, and the winner will have to make a 20% non-refundable deposit on the top bid with Panna's Diamond Office. The balance of the bid is due within 30 days of the auction date.
