China-Brunei bilateral trade volume reached US$ 647 million in first five months of 2011

According to Chinese Customs, China-Brunei bilateral trade volume reached US$ 647 million in first five months of 2011, up by 40% year-on-year. Of which export from China to Brunei was US$ 384 million, while import from China to Brunei was US$ 264 million, up by 341.2% and -29.3% year-on-year respectively. In 2010, China-Brunei bilateral trade volume amounted to US$ 1.025 billion, with a year-on-year increase of over 140% compared with US$ 423 million in 2009.
