CSIC sees profits doubled in H1

China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) predicted the company might see net profit rising more than 256 percent in the first half year, the return for apiece would not be less than 0.31 yuan, the company said in a statement yesterday.
Established in July 1999, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) is a major state-owned enterprise group and one of China's largest shipbuilding and shiprepairing groups. It has 46 industrial subsidiaries and 28 R&D institutes.
The CSIC had reported net profit 797 million yuan in first half year of 2010, with a net return 0.12 for each apiece of stock.
