UC Resources Ltd announced the appointment of Gary Monaghan as chief executive officer of the company, effective immediately.

Monaghan most recently was a director of UC Resources Ltd. He has also been operating his own consulting company. Monaghan has over 25 years of senior management experience in the communications industry in several companies as president and founder. He is also a director of Encap Investments Inc.

The company also said that Jim Voisin will remain as president and chief operating officer.

UC Resources is an active explorer of base metals and chromite and an explorer and producer of precious metals in Mexico.
