ArcelorMittal's Ukraine Unit Cuts Steel Output by 13.6% in July

ArcelorMittal (MT)’s Ukrainian unit said steel production declined 13.6 percent in July from the same month a year ago.
Output fell to 425,100 metric tons, from 492,100 tons, Alexander Ioskov, who heads the production department at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, said in an e-mailed statement today.
Steel production declined to 3.08 million tons in the first seven months of the year from 3.56 million tons in the same period a year ago after a blast furnace malfunctioned in June, according to the press release.
