From the initial statistics released by the Generation Administration of Customs, alumina oxide imported 60000 tons in July which contract again compared to Jun 720000 tons, a decline of approximately 78%. Accumulative imports from January to July were 10.80 million tons, declining 59% year on year.

As the continuous low imports of alumina oxide, now China alumina oxide prices have quickly surged to about 2900 Yuan each ton. As a raw material of manufacturing white fused alumina, the high trend price of alumina oxide will further increase white fused alumina cost pressure to a rising price of white fused alumina. Analysts thought domestic alumina oxide will have a high trend in the next half year and the white fused alumina prices are expected continuing high.
