Los Angeles police are seeking suspects who are believed to have robbed an Israeli jeweler of $2 million worth of diamonds in North Hollywood on Thursday night.
The victim told police that he had left a friend's house when his car was attacked. One vehicle reportedly rear-ended him, and a second car blocked him in. A group of masked thieves broke his car window, snatched a backpack containing the diamonds – which were uninsured – from the passenger seat, and made their escape on foot.
Police have found one of the vehicles used in the robbery.
