The Gemological Institute of America's 4Cs of Diamond Quality brochure has been published in three additional languages: Arabic, Hebrew, and Turkish, bringing the total number of languages in which the guide is available to 19.



The GIA's 4Cs guide seeks to help consumers understand how diamonds are graded by explaining the main parameters (cut, color, clarity, and carat weight) used by the diamond industry. The brochure also demonstrates the GIA's own grading scales for color, clarity, and cut.



The 4Cs brochure can be ordered from the GIA's retailer support website (http://retailer.gia.edu/rm/downloads.htm). The first 100 are free of charge; additional copies of the guide cost $12.50 for 100 plus taxes and shipping. The 4Cs brochure is also available for download at no cost.
