Brush Research Manufacturing (BRM), the company known for its Flex-Hone Tool, will be attending EMO Hannover 2011 in Hannover, Germany from September 19 – 24. At the show, Brush Research will debut its new line of high-performance nylon abrasive tools – an extension of its Nampower™ line. Brush Research will be located in Hall 11, A53 at the EMO Hannover Show.
Organized by the German Machine Tool Builders Association and promoted by CECIMO, the European Association for the Machine Tool Industries in Europe, EMO Hannover 2011 is the place to see new machine tools, manufacturing systems, and many other products – all while learning about innovations in metalworking technology.
Four years ago EMO Hannover drew 166,500 visitors from 80 countries. Nearly 60% of these attendees were industry executives, and that year’s show generated an order volume of 4 billion Euros.
At this year’s event, Brush Research’s VP of Global Sales Michael Miller will review technical drawings, troubleshoot applications, and answer questions from the Brush Research booth (Hall 11, A53). Miller will also debut Brush Research’s new line of high-performance nylon abrasive tools. These high-performance disc brushes and composite hub wheels create reliable, consistent and cost effective results. Nampower brushes are easily integrated into today's automated machinery, CNC machining centers, transfer lines and robotic cells.
Brush Research will also bring Flex-Hones for deburring, edge blending, chamfer blending, and surface finishing.
The Flex-Hone Tool from Brush Research Manufacturing is a resilient, flexible honing tool with a soft cutting action. Whether it’s deburring a hole or blending an edge, the flexible hone will provide a superior surface finish with a non-directional or crosshatched pattern. This results in increased product performance and longer product life.
The cylinder hone is designed for a variety of automotive, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial applications in sizes from 4mm-36”. Fine grit hones in 400, 600, and 800 grit are available for finer surface finishing tolerances resulting in single digit Ra level finishes. Now available in Diamond abrasive to efficiently finish and produce the proper edge radius on harder materials such carbide, ceramic and aerospace steel alloys.
