A massive diamond mine has been revealed 60 kilometers east of Prince Albert in the Forte-a-la-Corne forest, in a feasibility study released on Friday.
Shore Gold Exploration and Development Vice President George Read says the project will create jobs requiring a huge range of skills.
"Over the 20 year life of the mine there would be continuous employment of more than 500 people," said Read.
Shore Gold expects to extract about $9 billion worth of diamonds.
