Indianapolis, Indiana, September 7, 2011 – Mi Casa Verde is displaying two new hardware models for their Z-Wave home controller during CEDIA. VeraLite and Vera3 will be available to dealers and distributors this fall. Stop by the Z-Wave Alliance Booth #303 at CEDIA to get a glance of these exciting new products.

"In October and December of this year, we will be offering our customers two new versions of the successful Vera line-up. Both models will run the same MiOS engine; both will have the new UI5 interface and access to all the MiOS Marketplace apps. We are broadening the options for our channel partners and their end customers. For VeraLite, our goal was to hit a new lower price point that would appeal to an even broader middle market and open up new doors for our channel partners. With Vera3, we beefed it up for the more advanced users while staying at an affordable price," says Lew Brown, EVP Business Development, Sales and Marketing.

Vera3 has built-in Wi-Fi 802.11N to allow the Vera3 to act as the primary router in the home or business network or as a Wi-Fi client by connecting wirelessly to the existing router and expanding the Wi-Fi signal. With a faster processor and more memory, Vera3 can handle more apps and store more energy-usage data and video clips locally. Vera3 has more ports (4 LAN and 2 USB) to allow users future expansion of their network to include more device types. Vera3 is scheduled to hit the market in October with a retail price of $299.

VeraLite features a built-in battery compartment making inclusion of Z-Wave devices into the network easier. Mi Casa Verde found that a large number of customers already had Wi-Fi routers and do not need it in the Vera. Therefore, the Wi-Fi is removed from the VeraLite hardware, offering customers with an existing router an even more affordable home controller. Launching in December for only $179, VeraLite gives customers the power of MiOS home control at the lowest price ever.
