The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) today announced that AMC NV, the Antwerpbased diamond manufacturer, has achieved certification meeting the ethical, human rights, social and environmental standards as established by the RJC’s Member Certification System.
“RJC warmly congratulates AMC NV on its certification. The successful verification assessment of AMC NV headquarters in Antwerp was conducted by Peter Warbrick from SGS, one of the independent third-party auditing firms accredited to the RJC’s Member Certification System,” says Michael Rae, RJC’s Chief Executive Officer.
“AMC is deeply committed to upholding only the very highest of ethical standards, and we are honored that our efforts in this area have been formally recognised through the award of RJC’s certification. We believe that this recognition marks merely the beginning of a journey, for AMC will continually strive to improve the livelihood and wellbeing of our diamond communities whilst at the same time maintaining the quality of the environment from which we seek nature’s most precious gift, the diamond,” says Lionel Mai, Director AMC NV.
