During our brief visit to EMO this week it was apparent to see that all is well in manufacturing throughout Europe, hundreds of machine tool and tooling suppliers were using this flagship show to promote new technology and new ideas. With over 10 halls full to the brim with lathes, turning centres, machining centres, 5 axis technology, mill turn machinery + much more, it would be difficult to see how anyone involved in machining could afford to miss this opportunity.

So rearly do you find such a quantity of OEMS under one roof, there were machine tools on show that even the MTD team had never heard of. Famous brands such as Hurco, Haas and Doosan were occupying vast amounts of hall space displaying their port-folios.

The show itself is very well organised, only having two days in Germany to take in the event was probably on reflection not enough however the way the event was hosted, managed and layed out did reduce any unnecessary time wasting which can so often be an issue at big shows like this.

There's still two days to go, so, if you've got sometime on your hands?....this is well worth a visit.
