According to Inner Mongolia based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co, in September the company outputs all exceeded the targeted volumes.

Accordingly, in September Baotou Steel produced 881,600 tonnes of pig iron and 808,300 tonnes of semi-finished steel products, increasing by 7.54%YoY and 0.92%YoY respectively. In addition, in September Baotou Steel produced 847,700 tonnes of finished steel which was equivalent to 101.6% of its target for the month.
