Fine jewelry designed by Heide Schmaltz Lasher especially for Barack Obama's presidential campaign will be displayed in the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington DC.
Two of Schmaltz Lasher's lapel pin designs, including the rhinestone “Obama Hope” pin, will be displayed as part of the Political History Collection in the museum and will also be available for sale at the museum gift shop.
The Schmaltz Lasher unique jewelry pieces were introduced at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado last fall and were acknowledged both by Michelle Obama and the President during the campaign.
