Abstract There are various static strength equipments which test results are different. In this paper, both domestic and imported static strength detectors which structure and properties are not the same are choosed to test SCB diamond samples. The experiment results show that the measurement results of imported DiaTest-SI automatic static instrument are more accurate, more stable, more efficient and the detection method is more reasonable, compared to the widespread used domestic LY007 one.
